Document and Photo Use and Permission Guidelines

The National Soybean Research Laboratory at the University of Illinois grants permission for members of the news media and general public to use the pictures and documents in a  non-commercial manner for their articles, reports, web pages and other publications as long as the following guidelines are observed:

1. Credit is given to the respective author.
2. The URL to the website is included.
3. On web pages, a link to nsrl.illinois.edu is provided.
4. Only reasonable sized images should be used on web pages. The high-resolution images may not be archived on other websites.
5. You may not use the images as part of an archive of photos. They may only be used as part of your current project, website or publication.
6. Under no condition may the pictures or documents be used to promote or be associated with pornographic, immoral, or gambling related materials.
7. The pictures or documents may not be used to promote or be associated with illegal drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or any other addictive substance.
8. The National Soybean Research Laboratory reserves the right to change this notice at any time.
9. The National Soybean Research Laboratory reserves the right to deny usage of the images or documents to individual persons or entities if we deem such usage not to be in the best interests of the University of Illinois.
