Professional Background:
Kent Holt, Solae, is the Senior Manager of Industry Affairs and works closely with national and international government agencies, trade associations, and non-governmental organizations on issues related to the development of Solae’s business around the world. Part of this responsibility includes developing business in emerging markets where local governments, NGOs, and the private sector play an important role. This work includes the development of business opportunities in school feeding, malnutrition intervention, and complimentary feeding programs in Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
In his current responsibility as Director of Sr. manager, Industry Affairs for Solae, Kent works closely with national and international government agencies, trade associations, and non governmental organizations on issues related to the development of Solae’s business around the world. Part of this responsibility includes developing business in emerging markets where local governments, NGOs, and the private sector play an important role. This work includes the development of business opportunities in school feeding, malnutrition intervention and complimentary feeding programs in Africa, Latin America and Asia. Kent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Utah State University and an MBA degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Over his 34 year career in the international food industry he has held positions in product development, technical service, business management, marketing, product management and regulatory affairs.
